Thoughts on Windows 8
What say ye?
I think this is a decent OS by the sound of it. It will mainly benefit tablet and touch screen users it seems. The UI is named "Metro". However, I saw the option to go to the classic version, and it won't necessarily feel old, just....original. The Metro UI does look tight. If it can perform as well as it claims, I will be all for it. It will make one heck of a tablet.

You mean Windows Phone 8?
I've heard that it's a nightmare to upgrade a device from WP7 to WP8.

One thing I'm noticing is the APPs. They are pretty cool. Unfortunately, it all works a little too close to how Apple operates. This means to use some of the Apps like Netflix, Skype, and some others you need a Microsoft e-mail such as MSN or Hotmail. Well, I don't want to change all my accounts e-mail addresses to Microsoft to my Hotmail address. Maybe I will to test everything out, ah who cares right?

Microsoft Security Essentrials IS NOT compatible with Windows 8. I think this is awesome. Now I can use McAfee or Norton bloatware. Kaspersy even! All sarcasm aside, this is a good thing. Why?
Windows Defender is now Micrsoft Security Essentials. If you open it, it looks exactly the same and is now included with Windows so you have working Anti Virus right out of the box. Pretty cool IMO.
