Jailbreaking Newer iDevices Empty Jailbreaking Newer iDevices

Post by Ambush Wed Dec 19, 2012 5:49 pm

It's really sad that the more into the future we move the harder it is to Jailbreak iDevices. Especially, the iPhone 5.

Supposedly, this is all due to the intensity of the newer processors which make exploiting the device more difficult.

There are a lot of cool / handy Apps on Cydia. We will just have to wait and see what the Jailbreak community comes up with. The Dev Team, Muscle Nerd, Comex, P0sion Ninja, etc are not coming accross anything promising based off their Twitter feeds. That is the most new and up to date news you can get.

We'll see what the future holds. On a positive note, it just means your device is a lot less susceptible to attacks from trojan, malware, etc. By the team at Apple carefully inspecting submitted Applications VIA the AppStore, the threats are also minimal. Every now and then an APP gets let in that does some kind of illegal tracking or data gathering. No different I supposed to getting tracking cookies on IE.
