Rumor has it beta starts in September and game is releasing December 31st of this year. Roman and I both got the collectors edition. There are two types you can get. Game w/Bonus and Collector's Edition w/ Bonus. Both are good options. Collector's Edition seem expensive? Well, you can just put a minimum down payment for now and pay the rest when the game comes out. You have time, but don't wait too long.

Plus, I got a 458-page story set in teh Firefly universe that I still haven't finished, and the developers are soliciting for content, so I might actually get PAID.

Well, paid if they manage to pull this stuff off. Firefly MMO's tend to be stillbirths.

Sounds like a bunch of crap. The game will come out and you will buy it. I mean, its going to be sitting there waiting for you..

Gamestop.com will only let you pre-order 1 collector's edition per account. Have to stop by the store and pickup one up manually.

I'm wondering since they never verified with me if I got the regular one or the collector's edition. I mean, there is two collector's editions from what I hear. Or, maybe it's only if you pre-order you get goodies, but not really a collector's edition for the $60 one.

This is the one that has all the goods. There is even a VIP ingame store for the collectors edition. The other editions do not have these things. here is a link that tells you the differences in each edition:

Ah, my passion for video games has died. I guess that comes with growing older. I almost regret pre-ordering the game. I guess it's because if you think about it most games are the same, just different graphics and story. The game is generally the same. We'll see.
