I'm Bidding on a HTC HD2
This phone can run Windows and Android. How cool is that? It will be a PDA until I go to Tmobile. It's not definite that I'll be leaving AT&T. The phone itself could be used for many things. If I lose the bid, no biggy. Phone is brand new.

Yeah as long as it stays cheap I'll get it. I'm not over anxious so it is like, if I get it cool, if not then whatever. If I keep that attitude I will get one eventually, but it will be cheap.

Someone started a thread and I replied to it.
XDA Developers
A real popular site. I used to go on it back in the day when I had my phone I gave to Ian. They have a plethora of info there.

Re: I'm Bidding on a HTC HD2
So after looking on the forum for a while, I disovered something about battery life. After you flash your ROM, it only reads the current voltage. So I guess it seems to be a matter of the phone knowing what exactly 0% is and 100% is. There is a widget to check it out, then a file to delete and or modify. I think you just delete the file and run a command. It should be a sticky on XDA under HD2 General then some sub forum.

Coolest ROM Evar?
Well anyway this webpage is a link to a forum disscussion thread that was recommended to me by a frequent user. Here is his quote from a different thread.
Me
I'm going to keep both and switch simcards as I feel necessary. IF everything goes according to plan that is. The version 2 is able to be install / used on HD2? I want the ability to flip my phone upside down and it turn to vibrate mode. That's so neat. And of course other things that is may have to offer. So my thinking is, maybe you could put it on HD2, but that the new phones will have it to begin with. Or, it will only be available on new phones, which would suck.
yeah the Desire HD and the Incredible S come with this stock, but we have custom ROMs for the HD2 which do the same thing and more;
here's an example of a ROM you can flash on your HD2, check out the screenshots and video

Re: I'm Bidding on a HTC HD2
Device was DOA! Not really. It went on and was fine. Then, it shut off and would not charge. Started remembering why I don't use anything else, but an iPhone. Had to take the battery out and leave it for 5 mins, then put it back in. It would boot, but not charge. Spent half the night Googling for answer with no real solution except trying a different battery.
