Users on the Forum

We need to get the word out to folks about the board and make sure they register. This is in the VoIP thread so no one else can see this post.

Yeah, I kind of like the closeness our members have. I'm not sure how far I want to expand. However, I can always close off certian forums to just VoIP Members.

Considering it's mostly IT, gaming and generic geek stuff (yes, fuel injected turbocharged sports cars are a geek thing - carbs are for cavemen), the majority of the Church would find the limited scope of the forum to be a bit boring, over their heads, or both. Some of the IT stuff is over my head, even, as I'm the resident jack-of-all-trades geek, choosing not to specialize in any particular field.

So, it's okay to be a bit exclusive. We're geeks. We don't exactly fit in to normal social circles anyway.

Now, as far as the Gospel is concerned, that's a different topic.

All the people that come to the LAN Parties should've joined the forum so we'll clean house tonight, yo. Nah, but we'll all let them know. I say all cuz when I go to work they may arrive after me.
